The original VÄDERSTAD flexible plastic coulter and burier must be removed and replaced with the diffuser shown opposite, facing backwards.

In most cases, on seed drills that are 2 to 5 years old, the original coulter is the one on the left. The coulter depth should be set to 4 cm, as shown in the diagram above.

The spreader must be positioned facing backwards, with the clamping bolt at the rear. This ensures there are no issues with the seed press wheel.

The ‘Light’ setting on the cutter must always be set to the highest position.
The main drawback of this setup is that the diffuser is positioned slightly too low and could break if the ground is stony; we need to work with VÄDERSTAD to improve this aspect.
