This assembly is suitable for seed drills with or without a pressure wheel
MICROSMART WAY 3
This montage MICROSMART WAY 3 is best suited for applying insecticide microgranules, including if you are applying several types of microgranules at the same time during sowing
To install the diffuser, you will need to order the kit VALOTERRA or diffusers only.
This fitting, which adapts to the original tube, ensures that the diffuser shaft is correctly positioned and that the micro-granules are distributed evenly all around the seed
- Raise the hopper assembly on the seeding unit to its highest position and remove the sensor cover – Picture 1
- Remove the downpipe – Picture 2 – by unscrewing the bolt – Picture 3
- Set the depth control lever to position J9 and retract the Pro wheel to the raised position (marker 4) – Picture 4
- Fit the downpipe with the 25 mm diameter QDC-DXP® diffuser directly onto this bracket between the two discs.
- Rotate the diffuser on the downpipe so that it is aligned with the axis of the seed – Picture 5
- Position the dispenser correctly so that the micro-granules are dispersed forwards- Picture 6
- If the support wheel is present, adjust it so that there is no contact or friction.
- Return the hopper and sensor cover assembly to its original position.
MICROSMART WAY 2
This montage MICROSMART VOIE 2 can be used to install dispensers for insecticide microgranules if the other hopper connected to track 3 is already in use.
To install the diffuser, you will need to order the kit VALOTERRA or diffusers only.
This fitting, which adapts to the original tube, ensures that the diffuser shaft is correctly positioned and that the micro-granules are distributed evenly all around the seed
- Remove the gauge wheel, scraper, opening disc and cell cover. Then unclip the chute – Picture 1
- Fit the QDC-DXP® spreader to the tube on the seed unit and position it correctly so that the micro-granules are spread rearwards and in line with the sowing direction – Picture 2
- WARNING : When reassembling, follow the instructions regarding the tightening torque for the disc and gauge wheel assembly – Picture 3
- Return the hopper and sensor cover assembly to its original position.
