The diffuser is required

In its insecticide microgranule configuration, the seed drill is fitted with a spring-loaded metal microgranule feed tube for each sowing unit, onto which the diffuser and spacer are fitted. This spring must be cut and shortened.
If you do not wish to cut this spring, you can purchase the bracket, spring and diffuser as spare parts from your HORSCH dealer or directly from HORSCH.

Remove and take out the bracket for the microgranulator feed tube fitted with the spring.

Shorten the spring by 10 cm by cutting it with a metal-cutting saw.

After shortening the spring by 10 cm, insert the diffuser and its spacer ring into the remaining section of the spring and tighten the Allen screw securely.

Align the spreader so that it faces the front of the seed drill in the direction of travel of the tractor.

Refit the « diffuser and bracket » assembly to each sowing unit.
Adjust the air flow so that the microgranules are evenly distributed in the ‘V’ of the furrow.
