


When configured as an insecticide microgranule spreader, the seed drill is fitted with a flexible, translucent plastic microgranule tube for each sowing unit, which:
– is connected to a steel pipe (Photo 1) on the new models
– passes through a metal ring (Photo 2) on older models

Assembly of the new model
Remove the microgranule feed hose.

Remove the steel component. Using a metal saw, cut the tube 2 cm below the support plate.

Fit the DXP diffuser and its spacer onto the cut pipe, with the working end facing backwards.

Refit the steel component with the spreader onto the seed drill, with the spreader facing backwards. Reconnect the micro-granule feed pipe.

Remove the microgranule feed hose.

Remove the hose guide so that you can work more comfortably.

Select the reducer to suit the downpipe (fittings vary depending on the year of manufacture)

Secure the reducer to the downpipe using the supplied clamp and spacer, and insert the downpipe into the round opening provided.

Once the pipe is in place, secure the DXP diffuser onto the reducer with the vane facing backwards
